Battle Cry on kuwakuwa.app ("this site") is a voice venting toy. This page explains how it handles your information. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and what we do collect is discarded as soon as it has done its job.
Recordings
Rating mode runs entirely on your device — the audio never leaves your browser.
Challenge mode sends your recording over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it to a third-party large-model service (Alibaba Cloud Model Studio) to produce a verdict. The recording is discarded immediately after judging. We store neither the audio nor any transcript, and use it for nothing else. The third-party service processes the request under its own terms.
Rate limiting and bot checks
To enforce daily usage limits we store per-day counters keyed by a SHA-256 hash of your IP address (IPv6 addresses are first truncated to their /64 prefix). The raw IP address is never written to storage.
Challenge submissions run an invisible Cloudflare Turnstile check. It uses no cookies and is never used for ad tracking; failing it does not block you — it only lowers your daily allowance. Cloudflare describes its handling of the data in: Turnstile Privacy Addendum
Payments
Top-ups are processed by third-party platforms — Afdian on the Chinese pages, and Creem, acting as Merchant of Record, on the English pages. We never see or store your card or account numbers. We keep only the order number, the credited points and an idempotency marker, for reconciliation and duplicate prevention.
Contributor board
After a top-up you may optionally submit a display name. It is shown publicly on the contributor board together with the credited points (at most 200 entries are kept). Leave it blank to stay anonymous. To have a published name removed, email us.
Local storage
We use no cookies. Your browser's localStorage holds your challenge record, language preference and top-up token — this data stays on your device and our servers cannot read it; clearing site data removes it.
Minors
This site contains strong language. If you are under 18, use it with a guardian's knowledge.
